Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging and effective IELTS and PTE preparation courses to adult learners. This includes developing and implementing comprehensive lesson plans aligned with exam requirements, utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles. You will assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement. Furthermore, you will be expected to maintain accurate student records and participate in regular faculty meetings to contribute to curriculum development and best practices.

A significant aspect of this role involves creating a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. You will foster a classroom culture that values individual learning needs and promotes effective communication skills. This includes addressing individual student challenges and providing personalized learning strategies. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching (ELT), TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching IELTS or PTE preparation courses to adult learners.
• Proven track record of achieving high student pass rates in IELTS or PTE examinations (demonstrable through data or testimonials).
• Extensive knowledge of the IELTS and/or PTE exam formats, including all test components (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
• Proficiency in developing and delivering engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to different learning styles and proficiency levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Native-level English proficiency (or equivalent).

Preferred Skills

• Experience teaching online IELTS/PTE preparation courses using various platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet).
• CELTA, DELTA, or other recognized TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment design for IELTS/PTE preparation.
• Familiarity with various IELTS/PTE preparation materials and resources.
• Strong understanding of English language grammar and vocabulary.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to students.
• Experience mentoring and supporting other instructors.

Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience with online learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas).
• Ability to utilize video conferencing software (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet) effectively for online teaching.
• Reliable high-speed internet access.
• Access to a personal computer or laptop meeting minimum system requirements for online teaching.
